JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT: THE SPIRIT OF FREEDOM EXPERIENCE

The Leo Goodwin Foundation teamed up with Junior Achievement for a Capital Campaign that is literally a “Capital Campaign”. By bringing the Spirit of Freedom Experience to South Florida, the Foundation was the sole sponsor of this exhibit designed to educate and inspire students about the cornerstone of their rights and freedoms. The key element of this exhibit is a display of six constitutional plaques hung in a new gallery built within JA World Patten Family Foundation Finance Park. The Spirit of Freedom Experience teaches children about our nation’s history and the importance of the Constitution through these plaques which were replicated using the original U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

The Leo Goodwin Foundation provided a $100,000 grant to implement this program and are extremely proud of the work they have done with Junior Achievement over the years. As an organization, Junior Achievement has been dedicated to our community’s children and their education, working hard to make their dream a reality. And with 50,000 children coming through the doorways at JA World, it was the ideal location for the Spirit of Freedom Experience.
