Junior Achievement:
Spirit Of Freedom Exhibit

Junior Achievement of South Florida teamed up with the Spirit of Freedom Experience to educate and inspire students about the cornerstone of their rights and freedoms. The Spirit of Freedom Experience aims to teach children about the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights and the central element of this initiative is an array of constitutional plaques. The plaques, which replicate the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights, are housed in a new gallery built within JA World Patten Family Foundation Finance Park.

The Foundation was excited to work with Junior Achievement, an organization that has dedicated itself to children and education, to make this dream a reality. The goal of the exhibit encourages youth to understand our nation’s history and the importance of the Constitution, and with 50,000 children coming through the doorways at JA World, it is the ideal location for the Spirit of Freedom Experience. The Leo Goodwin Foundation provided a $100,000 grant to implement this program.
